Role Overview
Leads the coordinated execution of consulting engagements by aligning clients, teams, workstreams, timelines, risks, and deliverables. Engagement Managers integrate the work of clients and Purple Sheep contributors, keep commitments and risks visible, and are accountable for keeping the engagement moving as a whole. This role is about coordinated delivery, not simply senior subject-matter expertise.
What You May Do
- Lead the coordinated execution of consulting engagements or major workstreams.
- Manage scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
- Coordinate people and workstreams across the engagement team.
- Lead client communication and expectation management.
- Identify issues, make decisions within authority, and escalate appropriately.
