Designed for young women ages 14 to 22, this pathway builds confidence, communication, character, resilience, identity, and foundational leadership capability while preparing learners for higher education, careers, adulthood, and lifelong leadership.
The Emerging Leaders Pathway™ is home to Rising H.E.R.™, Purple Sheep Institute™’s youth leadership experience delivered through the We Are H.E.R.™ initiative.
Through age-appropriate learning experiences, girls and young women strengthen identity, confidence, character, resilience, communication, and leadership capabilities while preparing to lead with purpose, service, and impact.
The Rising H.E.R.™ Leadership Journey
Leadership develops over time through intentional growth, meaningful experiences, and opportunities to lead.
The Rising H.E.R.™ experience is designed as a progressive leadership journey that supports girls and young women through key stages of personal and professional development.
As participants grow, they discover their strengths, develop practical leadership skills, deepen their sense of purpose, and prepare to navigate new opportunities with confidence, character, and integrity.
Each stage builds upon the one before it, creating a connected journey that prepares young women not simply for their next opportunity, but for a lifetime of leadership, service, and meaningful impact.
Series in This Pathway
Two age-specific series build confidence, readiness, and leadership identity across the transition from adolescence into adulthood.
Empowered H.E.R.™ Series
Ages 14 to 17
Help young women begin leadership from a place of confidence, character, and self-awareness. Build communication, emotional intelligence, resilience, healthy relationships, service, and academic readiness while strengthening the habits that support future leadership.
Royals™ Series
Ages 18 to 22
Step into adulthood with a stronger sense of direction, presence, and possibility. Strengthen leadership, career readiness, networking, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, community engagement, and purposeful planning for the transition into college, work, and adult responsibility.

The Honored H.E.R.™ Recognition represents the highest distinction within Rising H.E.R.™, celebrating young women who demonstrate exceptional leadership, scholarship, service, mentorship, character, and an enduring commitment to impact.
Rather than recognizing the completion of a single learning experience, Honored H.E.R.™ celebrates sustained leadership growth, purposeful service, and the intentional application of the values developed throughout the Rising H.E.R.™ journey.
The recognition reflects a young woman’s readiness to continue leading with confidence, contribute meaningfully to her community, and use her leadership to create opportunities and lasting impact for others.
